All MBE families are invited to attend our Title I Stakeholder Input Meeting, on Thursday, May 9th, 2024. The meeting will be held at 9:15 AM and 12:00 PM, at the North Gate Pavillion.
The purpose of the meeting is to allow all Title I families and Stakeholders to give input on the FY 2025 District and School Family Engagement Plans, School-Parent Compact, Building Capacity events, and how the required 1% of the Title I budget should be spent during the 2024-2025 school year.
Morale was high at Moulton-Branch Elementary School yesterday afternoon as students gathered for an exciting pep rally to encourage them for the Georgia Milestones testing that began today! Students competed against teachers, performed a proficiency dance, and cheered each other on as each class ran through a sign to signify BUSTING THAT TEST! 💥💯👊

The MBE Beta Club volunteered on Saturday morning to help Hunger Fight. The students helped prepare over 50,000 meals that will help local food programs.
MBE's Beta Club donated $500.00 to the Archery Team. The Beta Club earned the money from a Chick-Fil-A cookie sale. The Archery Team will use the donation to help them travel to a national competition.

Congratulations to the Moulton-Branch Archery team for qualifying to compete in the Archery National Tournament being held in Louisville, Kentucky on May 9-11. The MBE archery team consists of twenty-four 4th and 5th grade students. They shoot under the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) and Centershot organizations. The team competed in the state tournament on February 27 and earned their first EVER nationals qualifying score.
The budget for taking the archery team to the national tournament is not cheap, but these students have worked hard and deserve to have their hard work showcased on the national level. Please support your local Moulton-Branch Elementary archery team any way you can, so these kids can make the trip and represent your community on the national stage.

Lowndes County Schools proudly announces that Lauren Sirmans will serve as Moulton-Branch Elementary School's principal beginning in the 2024-2025 school year!
Mrs. Sirmans is no stranger to Lowndes County Schools, having worked in the system for 20 years, nine of which have been in administrative roles. For the past five years, she has served as Principal of Lake Park Elementary School. Under her leadership, LPES was named a 2022 Title I Distinguished School, an honor only bestowed upon the top 5% of the highest-performing Title I Schools in Georgia.
Throughout her tenure within LCS, Mrs. Sirmans has consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to student success and academic excellence. Her passion for education and visionary leadership will undoubtedly transfer seamlessly to MBE.
Mrs. Sirmans eagerly anticipates the opportunity to work alongside the staff at MBE. She looks forward to getting to know and having an impact on more students in our #OneLowndes Family.
