If your student sold 5 or fewer items, they can take their order home on the bus or as a car rider.
If your student sold more than 5 items, please plan to pick up their order in the chorus classroom between 3:45 and 5:00 PM.
Please make arrangements ahead of time so all orders can go home that afternoon!

REACH Georgia Scholarship Program Applications are being sent home tomorrow.
REACH Georgia is a needs-based mentoring and scholarship program providing promising students the support to graduate from high school and achieve postsecondary success.
Students who complete the program requirements will receive a scholarship of up to $10,000 ($2,500 per academic year maximum) to be used towards the cost of attendance at a HOPE-eligible postsecondary institution in the state of Georgia.
This is a fantastic SCHOLARSHIP opportunity!
Eligibility requirements:
Be enrolled as an 8th grader
Demonstrate and provide proof of financial need
Have proven legal status in the US (US Citizen or legal resident)
Have good attendance and behavior
Have grade reports reflecting at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA in core courses
Have a crime and drug-free record
Have demonstrated the support of a parent, legal guardian, or caring adult

As we begin the school year, we would like to provide a friendly reminder regarding the Lowndes County Schools and Lowndes Middle School dress code expectations. Our goal is to maintain a learning environment that is comfortable, appropriate, and focused on student success.
Please pay particular attention to the following dress code requirements:
When leggings or other form-fitting bottoms are worn, the shirt or top must be long enough to completely cover the buttocks in the back and provide appropriate coverage in the front. Therefore, shirts should remain untucked in the front when worn with leggings to ensure the required coverage is maintained. Appropriate coverage must be maintained while the student is standing, sitting, walking, or participating in normal school activities.
Shorts worn by both male and female students must be an appropriate length and may be no shorter than three inches above the knee.
We appreciate your help in reviewing these expectations with your student before they arrive at school each day. Addressing dress code concerns at home helps minimize disruptions to instructional time and ensures students are prepared for a successful school day.
