Lowndes Middle School

During the night, we received a flash flood warning that was potentially life-threatening. Given the amount of rain we have received and will continue to receive, we have concerns regarding buses and cars accessing dirt roads and moving through potential flood zones. Out of an abundance of caution, knowing the safety of our staff and students is our top priority the decision has been made to close Lowndes County Schools and the System office for Thursday, April 11th.
