We’re so grateful for their time and support in making this transition a smooth and exciting one for our future sixth graders!

Happy Earth Day from Ms. Swopes’ second grade class! Today was such a fun and meaningful day learning all about how to keep our Earth clean and healthy. We talked about the 3 R’s—Reduce, Reuse, Recycle—and how even small actions can make a big difference! These students are officially little eco-experts and planet protectors!

As a special reward for Mrs. Jessica Taylor being named Dewar Elementary’s 2025–2026 Teacher of the Year, her first graders traded in pencils for roller coasters and had a day full of laughs, thrills, and unforgettable memories at Wild Adventures. We are so grateful to Wild Adventures for their generosity in providing such a fun and memorable experience for her students. Thank you for making this opportunity possible!
