Dr. Michelle Tindall, Assistant Principal
Education is my second career, providing me with a diverse teaching background and a well-rounded perspective. Over the past 12 years, I have taught a variety of subjects, including science, reading, literature, and social studies, to students ranging from 6th to 12th grade. Moreover, my career in education has involved developing and implementing curriculum initiatives and school improvement plans, serving as a content and professional learning leader, and fostering an inclusive and collaborative school culture. My dedication lies in supporting teachers and staff to cultivate an environment where students thrive academically and personally, nurturing their overall growth and development.
With a comprehensive educational foundation, I began my academic journey with an Associate of Science in Education from Georgia Military College, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Education, specializing in Middle Grades, from Valdosta State University. To further deepen my knowledge, I pursued advanced degrees at Thomas University, earning a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction and an Education Specialist degree in Teacher Leadership. Most recently, attaining a Doctorate of Education in Leadership from the University of Dayton.
I am grateful for the opportunity to leverage my classroom experience and understanding of student needs in my new role as Assistant Principal at Lowndes Middle School. I look forward to applying my skills and enthusiasm while working collaboratively to help achieve and support the goals of Lowndes County Schools.
